Green Steps interns offer organisations the opportunity to kick-start a new environmental initiative or accelerate an existing one. As a result of practical training and mentorship within the Green Steps @ Uni program, interns add real value to any organisation. Internship hosts can be not-for-profit organisations, small businesses, local, state and federal governments and large corporations across a range of sectors, from banking to mining and aviation to habitat reclamation.
Green Steps @ Uni is a university program that blends theoretical and practical approaches to improve the capacity of university students to contribute to more sustainable organisations across Australia. Green Steps' interns are trained by Green Steps trainers who have all worked in professional environmental change positions within companies and organisations. Interns benefit from the experiences, case studies and wisdom of trainers who understand the reality of enacting environmental change within an organisation. As a result of practical training and mentorship, Green Steps' interns add real value to any organisation.
