Work Placements - Information for Green Steps Participants
The placement program is open only to participants of the Green Steps university course. For this course a work placement must be completed in order to graduate from the program.
Work placements usually take place during university holidays, either in the June-July period or the November-February period. However, placements can be arranged at other times as long as they are completed before the end of February each year.
Placements run for a minimum of 12 days, with some flexibility in regards to the scheduling and length of placements.
Students undertaking placements are usually paid a small stipend to cover transport and other costs, but this is not equivalent to a regular salary.
