Carla Wilkin is an Associate Professor of Accounting Information Systems in the Department of Accounting and Finance, Faculty of Business and Economics, Monash University, Australia. Carla is currently the Director of Teaching and Learning for the Department.
Dr Wilkin joined the Department of Accounting and Finance, Monash University, in July 2005. Prior to this Carla was with the Department of Accounting at The University of Melbourne; Carla has also held positions as Deakin University.
Carla's teaching responsibilities have primarily been in accounting information systems and business information systems.
Her memberships of professional bodies include:

Association for Information Systems (inc. AIS Special Interest Group)
Association for Computer Machinery (ACM)
Senior member of Australian Computer Society (ACS).
She is also an active researcher and has published in leading journals including: European Journal of Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, Journal of Information Systems, Electronic Commerce Research, IT & People and International Journal of Accounting Information Systems. Dr Wilkin's major research interests concern: governing IT; system use, appropriation and innovation; business and IT alignment; and risk management in business processes and supply chains.
Dr Wilkin is a member of the editorial boards of:

International Journal on IT/Business Alignment and Governance.
