Biography

David works in the Faculty of Arts at Monash University as a Senior Lecturer. He co-ordinates the Graduate Publishing and Editing Program and teaches both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His specialist areas of research interest include the study of Australian society and culture in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, biography, heritage, international exhibitions, industrial and regional communities, Melbourne, publishing studies, newspaper and media history, wine and viticulture, the history of sport and Australians and Australian communities abroad.
