Kellie works in the School of Chemistry at Monash University as a Senior Lecturer

 

 

Kellie’s research areas of interest are:

 

  • Research into the area of chemical biology, an exciting area at the interface between chemistry and biology. This area is interdisciplinary and involves collaborations with the Department of Biochemistry and Department of Microbiology.

 

 We are interested in

  • Understanding how enzymes function and the rational design of inhibitors
  • Synthesis of bioactive compounds; natural products and peptide mimetics
  • Alternate assay methods for ATP-utilising enzymes
  • Research into green, benign transformations
