Mrs Angela Brennan - Researcher Profile

Biography

Ms Brennan is a registered nurse with extensive cardiac and catheter laboratory experience spanning 25 years.  The last several years have been spent working with large registry systems and in clinical trial management. Ms Brennan has extensive experience as a cardiac nurse and manager and for the last several years has overseen and managed the Melbourne Interventional Group (MIG) Registry. Her research output has been related to the examination of outcomes in patients undergoing coronary intervention who were enrolled in MIG, the methodology of which was published in 2006. Since then, MIG has examined the outcomes in many sub-groups of patients undergoing coronary intervention, including the elderly, those with shock and renal impairment.
