Helen is a qualified nurse, naturopath and midwife. She has worked in both the community and hospital settings in a variety of roles. In 2002 she completed a Master in Midwifery at Monash University and is currently undertaking a PhD exploring the role of complementary therapies in a maternity setting. Helen’s primary interests include midwifery models of care, cultural aspects of midwifery care, Indigenous women’s health and complementary and alternative therapies.
Research Interests
Helen would be interested in working with students with a qualitative, quantitative or mixed methods approach in any area of women's health.
