Biography

Jean-Pierre is a lecturer and worked in the banking industry for 17 years, holding senior managerial roles within the Treasury department before joining Monash University. Jean-Pierre brings this work experience into lectures and subsequently developed the Credit Risk Modeling unit AFF5380 (delivered in the STARLab). He is recognised for his strong teaching focus, winning the Dean's awarding for Excellence in Teaching in 2006 and 2012. 

Jean-Pierre has supervised a number of Honours projects and is also a recipient of a number of competitive research including an AFAANZ grant and an Office of Learning and Teaching grant to develop web-based software.
