Biography

Rebekah Brown is a Professor in the School of Geography and Environmental Science, and a Director of Monash University’s Centre for Water Sensitive Cities where she leads interdisciplinary research focused at the interface between society and technology.

With a PhD (2003) in Environmental Studies and a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) (1994), she specialises in sustainable urban water management, adaptive environmental governance and socio-technical transitions.
