Biography

Helen De Cieri is a professor in the Department of Management.

Helen has researched and consulted with a wide range of public and private organisations in Australia and overseas. She has taught university and executive programs in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and the USA.

Helen was the Director of the Australian Centre for Research in Employment and Work (ACREW) from 2004 to 2011.

She is currently a co-chief investigator on two Australian Research Council grants. She has received numerous awards including a Vice Chancellor's Social Inclusion Award in 2010, and a Dean's Award for Innovation and External Collaboration in 2011 for research in collaboration with Professor Cherrie Zhu.

Her research interests include: the influence of HR in organisations; occupational health, safety and employee wellbeing; international HRM; and organisational performance.

Helen is a member of the Advisory Council for the 100% Project, a non-profit organisation which was established to provide leadership for the advancement of women in management.
