Biography

Chandra has a doctorate in econometrics. He has lectured in business statistics, forecasting and sample survey methods. He has extensive experience writing government commissioned reports on the economics of education and training, human capital and the labour market. Chandra has expertise in statistical analysis of large datasets and economic forecasting. He has done modelling to project the supply and demand for qualifications in the Australian population for the Victorian VET Inquiry and the National VET Reform Taskforce. He has analysed job and occupational mobility and developed models for occupational replacement demand.
