Bianca Brijnath is a NHMRC Early Career Public Health Fellow in the Department of General Practice.
Bianca's research interest is in cross-cultural meanings of mental health and care. Her disciplinary background is in medical anthropology, public health and primary health care. She has taught and researched in India, Australia and Zambia. Much of her work is applied and is focused on how social contexts and cultural backgrounds shape individual responses to health, illness, care and wellbeing.
