Associate Professor Jeffrey Dorman is in the Faculty of Education at the Gippsland Campus. He has held full-time appointments in universities since 1991. Before coming to Monash University in 2010, Jeff was a Reader in Education at the Brisbane campus of the Australian Catholic University. In 2004, Jeff was the Professor of Educational Research at Anglia Polytechnic University, Chelmsford, England. He specialises in the study of psychosocial learning environments and received his PhD in this field from Curtin University of Technology in 1995. Jeff has authored around 90 articles for journals and edited books. With colleagues from other Australian universities, he has received three ARC Grants. The total value of grants in which Associate Professor Dorman has taken a leadership role exceeds $1,050,000.
