Helen Grimmett is a Lecturer and Student Adviser in the Faculty of Education at Berwick campus. Before commencing her academic career, Helen taught as both a generalist primary teacher and music specialist in a variety of suburban, rural, government and independent primary schools. She has also worked in the educational publishing industry, including writing, editing and consulting on a number of teacher resource books. Helen completed her PhD in 2012. Her thesis is entitled, "Developing WITHIN practice PD: A cultural-historical approach to understanding the institutional practice of teachers' preofessional development."
