Su-Ming works in the Faculty of Engineering at Monash University as a Research Fellow. His primary research focuses on microstructure and mechanical behaviour of structural metal alloys, such as (i) mechanical properties and strengthening mechanisms, (ii) creep behaviour and deformation mechanisms, and (iii) microstructural characterization by electron microscopy.
