Dr Paul Jennings

Dr Jennings is the Deputy Head of Department and Director of Research with Monash University’s Department of Community Emergency Health and Paramedic Practice. He also currently holds a casual appointment as a Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance Paramedic with Ambulance Victoria (AV). Prior to moving into the prehospital arena, Dr Jennings worked as a Registered Nurse, predominantly in the areas of emergency and forensic (corrections) nursing. He is currently Chairman of Paramedics Australasia (Victorian Chapter), the peak professional body representing Paramedics in Australia. His research interests include clinical epidemiology, prehospital management of pain, out-of-hospital resuscitation and evidence based practice.
