Biography

Dr Rene Stolwyk works in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing & Health Sciences at Monash University as a Lecturer.

Rene is a research and clinical neuropsychologist.  He has extensive clinical experience based at the world-renowned National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery at Queen Square London.  Dr Stolwyk's general research interests include understanding the cognitive, emotional and behavioural sequelae following brain injury.  His current research program includes investigations of reduced awareness and insight following stroke, cross-cultural issues in neurorehabilitation, and return to driving following traumatic brain injury. 

Dr Stolwyk is currently supervising a number of doctoral students across a range of projects in the area of clinical neuropsychology.
