Dr Mohammad Awrangjeb is a Senior Research Fellow at the Gippsland School of Information Technology of Monash University. He is a recipient of the Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA) by the Australian Research Council.
Dr Mohammad Awrangjeb is a Senior Research Fellow at the Gippsland School of Information Technology of Monash University. He is a recipient of the Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA) by the Australian Research Council. Before joining Monash University in 2012, he worked as a Research Fellow at the Cooperative Research Centre for Spatial Information of the University of Melbourne for 4 years. He achieved his B.Sc. Engg. Degree in Computer Science and Engineering in 2002 from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, M.Sc. Degree in 2004 in Computer Science from National University of Singapore, and Ph.D. Degree in 2008 from Monash University. He is the first author of 30 high quality research articles and his research interests include automated feature extraction from remote sensing data, feature extraction and matching from images, and robust watermarking.
