Biography

Dr Becky Batagol is a researcher and teacher with a focus on family law, non-adversarial justice, dispute resolution, gender, family violence and constitutional law. She recently completed work for the Victorian Law Reform Commission on non-adversarial child protection processes and has been a distinguished visitor at the Institute for Feminist Legal Studies, Osgoode Hall, Canada.

Becky is the co author of Non-Adversarial Justice (2009) with Michael King, Arie Frieberg and Ross Hyams and Bargaining in the Shadow of the Law - The Case of Family Mediation (2011) with Thea Brown. Both are published by Federation Press. In 2012 she co-authored Family Support Program Literature Review, Research into the Family Support Program: Family Law Services on behalf of the Australian Centre for Justice Innovation for Allens Consulting Group and the Federal Attorney-General's Department.
