Trinh works in the Faculty of Art & Design at Monash University as a Senior Lecturer.
Trinh was the inaugural Georges Mora Foundation Fellow in 2007.
Trinh has an ongoing interest in experimenting with mathematical formulae which evolve visually into works defined by their dealings with 3-D objects in space. She a painter who uses computer technology as a starting point for her paintings. Using images to explore mathematical structures, she uses the certitude of numbers, the simplicity of computer calculations and personal engagement with the computer as the basis of her creative philosophy.
