Rebecca joined Monash University in 2009 after working in various nursing education roles both institutional, as a consultant, and primarily academic over the last 15 years. Rebecca has an extensive clinical background in critical care nursing. Since joining Monash, Rebecca has established and coordinated the Master of Nursing Practice, a new pre-professional accelerated nursing program for graduates from other disciplines. Other experience includes regulatory authority membership over a 5 year period, Chair of the ACT Professional Standards Committee, Chair of RCNA ACT branch, membership of the NSW ACCCN and many university committees. Her research areas of interest include ethics, practice development, aesthetics in nursing education, interdisciplinary collaboration and work integrated learning. Rebecca is currently a PhD candidate.
