My research program aims to (a) identify psychosocial factors that enhance or hinder well-being across the lifespan and (b) develop and evaluate interventions and preventative measures that facilitate sustained and enhanced psychological well-being. The program includes students enrolled in the Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology, Master of Psychology, Master of Psychology/PhD and PhD. It is designed to inform psychology teaching, practice and research within the specialist areas of counselling psychology and educational and developmental psychology that exist within the Faculty of Education and the Krongold Centre. In keeping with these specialisms, student research projects address sub-components of the larger multi-faceted research question related to well-being either in the general community or in children with special needs and their siblings and parents.
