Pamela Jane Taylor is a lecturer (Education_ Interprofessional) 0.8 EFT, at Monash University Department of Rural and Indigenous Health. She has been employed as a lecturer part time since 2008. As part of her role as lecturer she currently provides consultancy and support as an interprofessional educator supervising students at Latrobe Community Health Service. Her clinical background is as a speech pathologist who she draws on a wide ranging experience as a health care clinician and additional post graduate qualifications in both health and education and has continued up to December 2010 to balance the dual roles of speech pathology clinician and education academic.
Jane has been successful in obtaining grants for training students in interprofessional education. She is progressing research in interprofessional education (IPE) as chief investigator on two research projects examining IPE of undergraduate health care professionals.
