Biography

Lucinda works in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing & Health Sciences at Monash University as a Research Fellow.

Lucinda obtained her PhD from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Monash University, in 2008 from studies examining the mechanism of albuminuria associated with cardiovascular disease. In 2009, Lucinda began working as a Post-doctoral Research Officer in the Department of Physiology. Her research has focused on examining sex differences in the regulation of arterial pressure and in particular the involvement of the renin-angiotensin system and how this may be responsible for differences in the development of cardiovascular disease between men and women.
