Dr Paraskeve Mitsopoulos-Rubens - Researcher Profile

Biography

Eve is a Research Fellow in the Human Factors Team at MIRI’s Monash University Accident Research Centre. She holds a PhD in the areas of experimental psychology and human factors from Monash University.

Eve’s PhD was in the area of young novice driver safety, with a specific focus on calibration skill and the use of driving simulation to measure that skill. At MIRI, Eve conducts research in the transportation and workplace safety domains that draws on principles of human factors theory and methods.  Her main research interests are in the areas of novice driver and rider safety, with a particular focus on skill development, licensing systems, training and testing. Eve also has interests in the use of simulation for research and training purposes, and the design and evaluation of in-vehicle systems.
