Biography

Dr Andrew Coleman is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business Law and Taxation.

Andrew Coleman is a senior lecturer in law and teaches business law, commercial law, and international public law and policy.

He has received a number of teaching awards including the Department of Business Law & Taxation Award for Innovative Teaching (2004) and the Dean's Award for Excellence in Teaching (2005). 

His research interests are in the area of public international law, national sovereignty, self-determination, peacekeeping and the practice of the United Nations. In 1999, he researched these areas in New York and The Hague. In 2008, he completed his PhD examining self-determination and the role of the International Court of Justice at the University of Melbourne.
