Biography

Associate Professor David Campbell has had extensive experience in teaching the nature of rural medicine and rural practice throughout his professional life, both at the community practice level and at Monash University.  He has served in many leadership roles, the most recent being as President of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine.  He has played a leading role on several key committees, such as the Rural Workforce Agency of Victoria.
David is an early career emerging researcher.  His research has focussed on a Survey of Victorian Rural GPs in Towns without a Hospital and the Evaluation of community-based integrated medical curricula.
He has presented papers on rural practice at several international conferences, and received grants from the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing.
