Biography

Lee-Anne studied Architecture at RMIT University and graduated with honours in 2004. She has an interest in computational design and manufacturing techniques which was furthered through an undergraduate scholarship with the Spatial Information Architecture Laboratory (SIAL) RMIT. The position involved the digital measurement and translation of five physical models of urban art pieces (designed by artists Bellamo + Cat) for installation in the Melbourne Docklands Precinct. She has been teaching design and communications subjects for the past four years within the Architecture Departments at RMIT and more recently at Monash University.  Gaining her professional registration in 2007, her career has been based in Melbourne working on a range of education, hospitality, community, local and state government projects for Minifie Nixon Architects, Lyons Architects and Sinclair Knight Merz.  Seconded to VicUrban in 2006, Lee-Anne was involved in the project management of the Sustainable Affordable Housing Initiative and is keen to continue research in this area through her position with Monash University.
