Biography

Christis Tombazos is an associate professor in the Department of Economics. 

Christis Tombazos graduated with a B.S. (Summa Cum Laude), M.A., and Ph.D. in Economics from the Ohio State University. He joined the department of Economics at Monash University as a lecturer in 1995, was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 1999, and Associate Professor in 2006. He is currently the Director of Research of the DepartmentHis research concentrates in the fields of international economics, political economy, and microeconomics. His work has appeared in a variety of journals such as the Journal of International Economics, the Review of Economics and Statistics, and the European Economic Review.
