Dr Dat Bao - Researcher Profile

Biography

Dat Bao has worked with Leeds Metropolitan University in the UK, Cornell University in the US, the National University of Singapore, the Assumption University of Thailand, and presently Monash University. His expertise includes curriculum design, intercultural communication, materials development, classroom reticence, literacy development, creative pedagogy, and visual pedagogy in language education. With research experiences in England, Australia, China, the Philippines, and Thailand he has over 20 publications and major books and international journals. He has given numerous presentations in four continents including being a plenary speaker at international conferences. He is also a creative writer and artist with poems, short stories, and illustration art works published in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Argentina and other countries.
