Cristina Varsavsky holds and education focused position and is currently Associate Dean (Education) for Science at Monash University. Her interests in scholarship of learning and teaching include broad areas of mathematics and science education. She has over eighty publications in the areas of technology in maths education, curriculum development, transferrable skills, and the interface of mathematics education between secondary school and university. She is currently the leader of a national project on mathematics assessment, a leader of the science and mathematics education national network SaMnet, and the chair of the 2013 DELTA international conference on undergraduate mathematics and statistics education.
