Biography

Maria is a lectuer with the Department of Accounting and Finance at Monash University.

Joining the Department of Accounting and Finance at Monash University in 2006 from industry, Maria completed her PhD with Monash in 2012. Her research interests include corporate governance, executive compensation, governance of financial institutions, corporate finance, capital markets research including imperfections and anomalies, earnings quality, regulatory changes and behavioural accounting/finance research.

Maira is currently the Course Coordinator for the Master of Business (Banking and Finance).
