The Monash Antibody Technologies Facility (MATF) is one of the most sophisticated high-throughput monoclonal antibody facilities in the world.

Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) are a key tool for the research, diagnosis and treatment of disease. They are also a powerful tool used to detect, label, isolate and characterise proteins. We can supply thousands of new antibodies each year to our global clients, faster than by using conventional manual methods.

Our technology is state-of-the-art. We optimise every step of the production process by using high-throughput platforms. We also use microarray-based screening to select specific high-affinity antibodies.

MATF is a leader in technologies, which include:

  • antibody purification
  • characterisation and validation
  • ELISA development
