Standard Operating Procedures

Departments involved in animal research have files of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) which are specific to their needs.

SOPs have the advantage of saving both the researcher and the animal ethics committee time by having approved procedures that do not need to be rewritten in future applications, but simply referred to in the application.
