CLINICAL ASSESSMENT -Industry Support Clinics

REHABTech IS HERE TO HELP YOU HELP YOUR CLIENTS

Professional clinical assessments* are provided through our Industry Support Clinic. This clinic is conducted purely with the intention of assisting the rehabilitation health professional to continue their client’s management.

It is currently run every week with the aim of providing a detailed multidisciplinary consultation to the client, their family and/or treating practitioner with regards to rehabilitation or rehabilitation technology.

A full written report will be provided to the treating agency, medical officer and/or other funding authorities which may include Medicare, transport accident, and work accident authorities.

These independent clinical assessments can include:

Full assessment and consultation with the REHAB Tech team including medical officer, rehabilitation engineer, prosthetist/orthotist, therapists.
Liaise with referring clinic or practitioner on advice or recommendations.
Liaise with appropriate authorities including legal representatives, treating professionals.
A full report with advice and/or recommendations and quote for future work (eg. construct prototype, check sockets).

Video taped consultation, with appropriate analysis and assessment (gait, function, etc.).
Design advice in relation to assistive devices.
Manufacture of specialised devices.
