Paul Cronin (LLB 1980) was appointed a judge
of the Family Court of Australia in 2006.
Employed by the Australian Tax Office (ATO),
Elizabeth Haylock (BEc 1980, MEnvSc 2001)
recently managed the ATO's web calculator
project and is now an assistant director for its
pre-filling project.

managing groundwater resources for the Lachlan
Valley as a NSW Department of Water and
Energy hydrogeologist.

awarded last year's Monash

Award for Teaching

emergency medicine.

has recently been promoted
to the rank of commander
in the Royal Australian Navy
Reserve.
Now director of management systems at
University College London, William Miller (BA(Hons) 1986) is also chairman of The China
Tea Company in the UK.
Following her recent retirement from Monash
University, Val Campbell (BA 1986) has
volunteered her time as a project officer with
Indigenous Community Volunteers and as a
teacher at the Asylum Seekers Resource Centre.
Les Williamson (BE 1987) has been promoted
to the position of Australia-New Zealand
managing director at network equipment
company Cisco.
John Lenders (LLB 1987) has been appointed
Victorian Treasurer in the recent Victorian
Government Cabinet re-shuffle.
Based in Jamaica, Karen Tomlinson (MBA
1987) is the director of retail banking at
Scotiabank -- a major Canadian bank.
Wayne Francisco (BE 1988) has moved to the
east coast of the USA where he is service group
manager at international professional services
company GHD.

artistic director of a project to compose three
new orchestral scores inspired by the Great
Barrier Reef Marine Park in Australia.
