1960s

The first engineering student to graduate from Monash University, Ken McNaughton (MEngSc 1964) is enjoying his work in the media and publishing industries. He is now a member of the Screen Actors Guild in the USA and has worked on numerous movies.

After spending the last 35 years as family medical practitioners in Bendigo, Australia, Janice Sheringham (MBBS 1968) and husband Tony van der Spek (MBBS 1968) have partially retired. They currently provide part-time holiday relief for fellow practitioners in Bendigo and are excited about the prospect of travel in the coming years.

Pay TV Weather Channel forecaster Dick Whitaker (BSc(Hons) 1969) has assisted in launching 'Weather Ed' on Foxtel and Austar pay television. 'Weather Ed' is a 10-part series for secondary school geography students.
