Cycling to uniAustralian campusesBike paths and lanesBicycles can access the campuses as outlined under `Getting there - main travel routes and campus entrances', excepting that bicycles are not allowed on most freeways in Melbourne. Some roadways may have designated bike lanes in certain sections. Melbourne campusesAlthough Melbourne itself has extensive bike and pedestrian paths, there are no such paths which enter the Berwick, Caulfield or Clayton campuses. A bike path runs alongside the Stony Point railway line from a point near the Frankston railway station and passes alongside the Peninsula campus. There are several bike paths in Parkville and Carlton which provide off-road access to the Parkville campus for some of the way. Remember that bike helmets are required by law when cycling in Victoria. Further information
