Getting there - main travel routes and campus entrancesAustralian campusesBerwickBerwick campus is accessed by travelling along the Monash Freeway from Melbourne, the Princes Highway from Gippsland, or the Clyde-Cranbourne Road from the Cranbourne/Frankston direction. The entrance to the campus is located on Clyde Road. CaulfieldThe campus is located between Dandenong Road (also known as the Princes Highway) and Sir John Monash Drive. Caulfield campus has a number of access points. ClaytonThe campus is accessed by travelling along the Monash Freeway from Melbourne, North Road from the Brighton direction, Dandenong Road (also known as the Princes Highway), Ferntree Gully, Clayton, Wellington and Blackburn Roads from the northern and eastern suburbs, and Westall Road from the Frankston direction. The main entrance to the campus is located on Wellington Road. There are two other vehicle access entrances off Bayview Road and Normanby/Howleys Roads, however these have gates which are closed between 11.30 pm and 6.30 am Monday to Friday, and at all times on weekends and University holidays. GippslandFor details about travelling to the Gippsland campus, visit http://www.gippsland.monash.edu.au/campus/getthereandpark.shtml PeninsulaThe campus is accessed by travelling to Frankston via the Frankston Freeway or the Nepean Highway, Frankston-Dandenong Road from Dandenong, or the Cranbourne-Frankston Road from Cranbourne/Langwarrin direction. The main entrance is located on McMahons Road (an extension of the Frankston Freeway) and which is also known locally as the Moorooduc Road or Highway. ParkvilleThe campus is accessible from a number of main inner-city arterial roads including Elizabeth Street, Flemington Road, Royal Parade, and Alexander Parade. The main entrance is on Royal Parade. |
