Short courses

The Monash Short Courses Centre, located on the Clayton campus, is a not-for-profit service provided by the Monash Student Association. Courses are open to Monash students and staff and members of the public.

The Centre includes a variety of specialist facilities such as a dance a fitness studio, computer labs, art facilities, workshop and Ceramic Art Studio.

Courses are run over semester one and two run during the normal academic year, and during third semester over the summer break. A wide range of leisure and learning courses are offered, including classes covering such topics as computer training, languages, business and finance matters, communication and writing skills, personal and career development, hospitality training, music and dance, health and wellbeing, food and wine appreciation, photography, DIY and practical skills, arts and crafts, ceramics, jewellery, and lecture series is areas such as art, history, politics and philosophy.
