Cafe Moulin

Caulfield

C&B

C&B is a large, centrally located food outlet situated opposite the library. It offers a wide menu selection and the opportunity to sit and relax under a spectacular atrium. C&B stays open later in the evening during semester to cater for evening students. Opening hours during semester: Monday to Thursday 8 am - 8 pm, Friday 8 am - 5 pm. Shorter opening hours during non-semester times.

Fresco Juice Bar

Located on level 2 in building C, Fresco offers a delicious range of smoothies, juices, yoghurt, fruit salad and lots more. Opening hours during semester: Monday to Thursday 8 am - 8 pm, Friday 8 am - 5 pm. Shorter opening hours during non-semester times.

Gryph Inn Bar and Bistro

Located on level 1 of building K and is the ideal venue to have a drink with friends, a game of pool, a snack, or a substantial lunch or evening meal. Private functions are also held in the `Gryph', and the warm atmosphere makes it an ideal venue for Union nights and bands of all kinds. Opening hours during semester: Monday to Friday 11am - late. Bistro open from 12 pm - 3 pm (full menu). Bar snacks available after that time. Shorter opening hours during non-semester times.

Tower Sushi

Located on level 1 of building S and offers an assortment of sushi packs, hand rolls, miso soup and Asian beverages, including green tea. Opening hours during semester: Monday to Thursday 10 am - 8 pm, Friday, 10 am - 5 pm. Shorter opening hours during non-semester times.

Coffee HQ

Located on level 2 of building S. It offers an extensive range of pre-packaged sandwiches, fruit, hot and cold snacks, coffees, drinks, with efficient and friendly service for the early morning and lunch trade. Opening hours during semester: Monday to Friday 8 am - 7 pm. Shorter opening hours during non-semester times.

MamaDuke Cafe

Located in the basement of building H, basement, MamaDuke Caf_ is the newest eatery on campus (open for breakfast, lunch, happy hour and dinner). Offering superb coffee, delicious home-style pizzas and freshly made salads - it's well worth a visit.

Luca Restaurant

Luca Restaurant (fine dining) is located in the basement of building H. Opening hours: Monday to Friday 7 am - late.

NOTE: Unless otherwise indicated, the following food services are located within the Campus Centre (building 10).

Joe's Pizzeria

Located on the ground floor near the cinema. Serves traditional pizza favourites and gourmet sensations. 'Fax a pizza order' service available on +61 3 9905 5389. Open during semester and exam periods.

Centre Noodles

Located on the ground floor. Fresh sushi and noodle dishes throughout the day.

Peri Peri

Located on the ground floor. Great for fast takeaway options.

Joe's

Located on the ground floor behind the pizzeria, Joe's offers a menu featuring pasta and pizza. Open Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm it is the perfect spot for a great coffee, a relaxed casual lunch or an afternoon snack. Joe's can also help with your next function, just call on +61 3 9905 5294.

Coffee HQ

Located on the ground floor. Offers a large variety of food and beverages. Our counters offer great coffee, a range of gourmet sandwiches and rolls, a large selection of cakes and a variety of self-serve products, ranging from pre-packaged Malaysian and Asian dishes to soups and pastas. Open Monday to Friday. (Hours vary out of term.)

The Deli

Located on the ground floor. Freshly made sandwiches with your choice of bread and fillings (plain or gourmet). Ready-made French baguettes and pita breads with vegetarian or meat fillings. A large variety of muffins, vegetarian pies and pasties, freshly squeezed juices, Colombo ice-cream. Open all year 10 am to 2.30 pm during semester (hours vary out of term). Fare Play Cafe

A coffee lounge is located within the Sports Centre and is open seven days a week.

JP's

Located in the Monash Science Centre, building 74 (adjacent to the Howleys and Normanby Roads entrance to the University).

Monash Meeting Point

Located on the ground floor. Offers a variety of dishes from around the world.

Wholefoods Restaurant

Located on the first floor, this student-run restaurant and grocery provides cheap freshly prepared, naturally grown vegan and vegetarian meals, desserts, cakes and biscuits, and non-perishable bulk goods such as pasta, rice, lentils and beans. Gippsland

The Lab

To complement the range of gigs and activities provided by MUGSU, The Lab will be open periodically during lunchtimes, and regularly on weeknights and weekends. For beer on tap, a top notch AV system and experienced staff to help plan your special event, the Lounge is a great party venue for birthdays, club functions and more. Parkville

The Parkville campus cafeteria is open to students and staff from 8 am to 2 pm during teaching periods, providing breakfast, lunch and light snacks. Students can also grab a bite to eat in nearby Brunswick Road, Barkly Square shopping centre, the Red Cafe (corner of Walker Street and Royal Parade) or Vibe (441 Royal Parade), which are all a short distance from the campus. Lygon Street, Carlton and Sydney Road, Brunswick are also not too far away. A new caf_ will be opening in early 2007 located on the ground floor of the new 4th building.

Peninsula

Seahorse Tavern

Campus community life is alive and well at the Seahorse Tavern, with its bar and meals. Play some pool, relax in front of the open fireplaces, or just gaze at the magnificent view of surrounding bushland. The Seahorse Tavern is also the perfect venue for functions.

Upper Deck Cafe

With large windows looking out onto a beautiful bush landscape, the Upper Deck Caf_ is the perfect place for a light lunch, with a large selection of hot and cold foods. Students can also relax in the lounge.

Restaurant

A bistro is available on campus in the Campus Centre and Learning Commons building, offering a wide variety of meals, snacks and beverages. The bistro is open during peak campus hours excluding public holidays. A coffee shop in the seminar building offers drinks and snacks. A snack and beverage vending service is available after hours.
