Applying to graduate

Applications to graduate can be made online through the Web Enrolment System (credit card payments only). Alternatively, application forms can be downloaded from the web at http://www.monash.edu/graduations/ or obtained from any Student Service Centre. It is your choice whether you apply to attend a ceremony or not (called graduating in absentia). Either way, you must complete and submit an application form by the closing date.

Closing dates for applications to graduate

Information on application dates can be found at http://www.monash.edu/graduations and is also contained in the email sent to all enrolled students at the beginning of each semester. To graduate in first semester 2008, applications must have been submitted by 30 November 2007. To graduate in second semester 2008, applications must be submitted by 30 June 2008. Do not wait for examination results or deferred examinations before lodging an application to graduate, as your application can be deferred if necessary.

Applications for Masters and PhD graduands close one month prior to the date of the ceremony in Australia and two months prior to off-shore ceremonies.
