Notification of course feesStudents at Australian campusesNotificationsEnrolment details and fees statementWhen your enrolment is completed, the University will publish your `Enrolment details and fee statement' on the Web Enrolment System (WES) which you can then print out. These statements will not be mailed to students and are only available for viewing and printing via WES. If you do not pay your course fees by the due date shown, the University will issue a `Final notice', which is payable immediately. If you continue not to pay your outstanding fees, your enrolment at Monash University will be encumbered. This will result in your computer and library access being withdrawn, your exam results being withheld and other privileges being revoked. Additionally, you will not be to graduate and you will not be permitted to re-enrol in your next semester until all outstanding fees have been paid. If you continue to not pay fees, your enrolment at Monash University will be invalidated (discontinued). Students who have been invalidated cannot be enrolled in a course at Monash until the reinstatement fee is paid. International students who are invalidated will be reported to the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) for breach of student visa conditions. Commonwealth Assistance Notice (CAN)The Commonwealth assistance notice (CAN) is provided to all Commonwealth-supported (CSP) and FEE-HELP students via the my.monash portal within 28 days of each census date. An email will be sent to the Monash email account of relevant students advising when the notice has been posted on the portal. The CAN records details of enrolment and Commonwealth support or FEE-HELP as at each census date (eg 31 March for semester one and 31 August for semester two). You must check the details and report any errors to either your faculty or the Enrolments Unit (Student Administration and Systems) within 14 days of the date of issue. A late fee will be charged if you seek to dispute the statement after these dates. If your notice has not been posted on your my.monash portal within 28 days of each census date, you should contact the Enrolments Unit on +61 3 9902 6011. It is important to check the details on your CAN for the following reasons:
