Unit timetablesUnit offering timesThe timetable is prepared once a year for the following year, however some changes are made after the initial publication date to better accommodate both students and teaching staff. Generally, day unit offerings are scheduled between 8 am and 6 pm, and evening unit offerings are scheduled between 6 pm and 10 pm. Students are expected to be available to attend classes during these times. The timetable is normally available for viewing from mid-October of the previous year. Monash University Timetable System and Allocate+The Monash University Timetable System (MUTTS) is used to publish timetable information for students and staff on the web. You should regularly visit the MUTTS web site before the start of semester to view changes to times and/or locations of your classes. MUTTS is only used to view the day and time of available teaching activities. You must use Allocate+ to submit requests to study in particular teaching activities. Allocate+ is the class allocation system used by University faculties on all Australian campuses (with the exception of some degrees in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences and at the Victorian College of Pharmacy) at Sunway and Monash South Africa, to produce personalised timetables for all on-campus activities. You must be correctly enrolled in your selected units before using Allocate+, and should consult MUTTS to plan your timetable prior to entering your preferences into Allocate+. How does Allocate+ work?In most cases, you need to rank your attendance preference for each of your on-campus classes. Your preferences are then sorted, and personalised timetables (accessible via the web) are produced. As the allocation process takes into account both your preferences and seating availability, there is no guarantee that you will receive your highest ranked preference. You should be prepared to attend any activity scheduled for the unit in which you are enrolled. Login to:
