Cancellation of Units PolicyStudents enrolled in coursework unitsThis policy sets out the mechanisms for notifying students that a unit has been cancelled. In the event that the University is unable to offer an advertised unit because of a low level of enrolments or unforeseeable circumstances such as the death, serious illness or unavailability of a staff member or members, it may be necessary to cancel the unit(s) concerned. The University will normally give a minimum of one week's notice prior to the commencement of teaching of a unit when cancelling. Students affected will be advised via their University email account of the cancellation and the reason for the cancellation. Faculties:
Cancellation of classes within a unitIf circumstances require the cancellation of classes, you will be notified within two weeks of the start of the unit. As with the cancellation of a complete unit, not just the class, you will be notified via your Monash student email account. Further information |
