Description

Accounting is a system that identifies, measures, and communicates economic information to permit informed judgements and decisions by the users of that information. It is the language of business.

Units

To complete the accounting major in the Bachelor of Business students must complete:

(a.) The following six units (36 points):

  • AFF1121 Introduction to financial accounting
  • AFF2391 Cost information for decision making
  • AFF2491 Company reporting
  • AFF3431 Performance measurement and control
  • AFF3491 Advanced financial accounting theory and practice

(b.) two units from the following list (12 points):
