Meetings (standing committees of Council) regulations
Regulations made pursuant to Statute 1.2 - Meetings
1. The provisions of Statute 1.2 - Meetings shall apply to all meetings
of each standing committee of the Council.
2. The quorum required to be present at a meeting of a standing committee
of Council for the purposes of subsection 2.4 of Statute 1.2 - Meetings shall be determined as follows:
2.1 where the standing committee has three members, the quorum shall be
two;
2.2 where the standing committee has from four to six members,
the quorum shall be three;
2.3 where the standing committee has from seven to ten members, the quorum
shall be four;
2.4 where the standing committee has from eleven to fifteen members, the
quorum shall be five;
2.5 where the standing committee has sixteen or more members, the quorum
shall be one-third of the membership taken to the nearest whole number.
