Synopsis

The objective of the internship is to give students first-hand experience in working in a business setting in a context relevant to their likely graduate employment, and to integrate theory with practice.

Outcomes

The learning goals associated with this unit are to:

  1. compare and contrast theory and practice
  2. apply theory to practice in a supervised environment
  3. evaluate personal learning and personal development in a complex business environment
  4. analyse complex business problems and to prepare and present innovative solutions.

Contact hours

Business Internships will be undertaken under academic and organizational supervision in a business environment and do not require class attendance.

Not offered to off campus students

Prerequisites

Students are normally expected to have completed at least 72 credit points before enrolling in this unit.
