Synopsis
Two lecture topics chosen from the honours list of the school as approved by the coordinator and an essay based on a literature survey. Compulsory lecture topics include 'Stellar structure and pulsation' and 'Computational astrophysics'. Other topics are offered which cover a wide variety of astrophysical phenomena. The list is available at enrolment.

Two lecture topics (a mixture of assignments and examinations): 33.3% each
Essay (comprising written report and oral presentation): 33.3%
