Unit pages

What is this service?

A unit page aggregates information and online resources relevant to that unit. It contains both default information and materials added by teaching staff who are responsible for maintaining their own unit pages.

Services available within unit pages include:

Where is it located in the portal? Staff can access their unit pages from their 'Teaching' tab, students can access theirs from their 'Study and enrolment' tab.
Who can use it? Students enrolled in the unit and staff who have added the unit to their teaching commitments.
How do I use it? Staff must first add a valid unit to their portal teaching commintements and then request editing access for that unit's portal page. Students will see whatever resources their teacher has added to the unit page when they access it in their portal.
How much will it cost? This service does not attract an additional fee.
How do I get it activated?

Staff simply have to add a valid unit to their portal teaching commitments and follow the automated editing access request process to start adding content to their unit pages.
